I hadn't heard of Glycon before today, and when I did, I thought It was the invention of
Alan Moore, who gave an alternative
thought for the day on the BBC Radio 4
Today programme, guest edited by
Stewart Lee.
Here's a link to the piece, though I expect it will disappear in a week.
Only later did I realise that Glycon was a "real" "god", and one worth rummaging around for ephemera.
Here's the
Wikipedia entry. The postcard is from eBay.
